********** The all new "Official" iPhone 4S thread - Keep all the iPhone 4S stuff in here **********

I'm having a bit of trouble with Siri.

If I say "remind me to buy milk when I leave home" it works splendidly.

However, if I say "remind me to buy milk when I leave Dad's home" it asks me when I'd like it to remind me.

I have an address set for "Dad" and can even set this same thing up via Reminders directly, so how do you add a location based reminder for someone else's address?

I'd guess this is because you're asking it to remind you when you leave somewhere, yet you're not currently there. This would presumably require it to first recognise when you are there and then recognise when you're not (again), which is too complicated at present.

I have posted this in the accessories thread, but seeing as we're talking mobile coverage...

This was a speedtest I ran earlier (3 network) :)

I achieved the following this morning - I regularly checked this in the same area on my S2 and the most I ever saw was around 3.5Mbps:

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks.

So is not noticing it when first unboxing! ;)

If you're insinuating that I've somehow done it myself, then let me just say that I've tried figuring out how something like that can happen without damaging a part of the screen. The chip is very close to the glass so it had to have been there when it was assembled. You can only notice it when you slant the phone downwards as the light just catches off it slightly. I haven't taken the phone anywhere yet, as I've already explained I've had it in a microfibre bag next to my bed up until yesterday where it stayed on my desk at work. That is when I noticed it under the different lights that we have in our office.

Got a weird issue where the 3G on my phone just drops and won't connect.

Done it twice now, don't know if it's related to when it comes off WiFi but, whilst I have a 2G signal, there's no 3G data connection at all. Both times, the only cure has been to turn the phone off and on again and this has fixed it. On Voda but, as the problem is cured by a reboot, it looks more like the phone than the network to me.

Anyone had anything like this?

I'm on Vodafone and it hasn't happened to me. Although my 3G connection has dropped whilst over the park with my dog but it does come back without a reboot.

I had this last night on Three. Phone decided it wasn't going to receive any 3G data. It was stuck on a single bar wherever I went. Eventually just put the phone into flight mode and then back out again and this sorted it. Had three bars of 3G coverage again and was getting just shy of 5Mbps downloads :D

Mine won't last a day, yesterday I took it off charge at around 7am, don't think I made any calls, light usage really, by 7pm the battery was at 2%, I hammered my 4 much more and never managed to get the battery that low in 1 day before.

I'm worried there is something wrong with mine.

Ah ok I'll try the flight mode thing next time it happens - a lot easier than rebooting.

Yeah I have always used flight mode first if anything to do with the wifi or the mobile data stops working. I figure that it'll practically do the same thing as switching off the phone as far as those components are concerned. Bit worrying that it is happening but it is the first release of iOS 5 so it will definitely need some refining.

On a similar note, I had some major issues with my wifi connection on my iPad on Sunday. It was connecting in the settings, but then when I went out and loaded a page, the wifi logo at the top left disappeared. I'd then go in, and all the IP settings were missing. I must have spent about 10 minutes trying to get it all working again. Even rebooted my router just in case it was that but nothing helped. Eventually it started working again. Anyone else experienced this?

There's a few ios5 bugs out there at the moment, loads of people are getting the same thing, all I can suggest is turning off data when you don't need it. The main issue is the phone keeps a permanent push port open to apple even if you turn off every feature that should use it :(

I was bothered about the battery on mine coming from a 3Gs that would last me days, so decided to test it out straight away....

I charged it up saturday night and took it off power first thing sunday morning, its now just dropped to 2% (11.20 tuesday). Considering the upgraded hardware, that seems reasonable enough.

Its seen more than my average useage over that period as well (play factor). I cant tell exactly how much though as the useage stats reset randomly.

I haven't used mine much yet, as i am waiting for my number to be ported over to Three. I don't have anything pushed, check my email manually every hour or so and this is what i have so far, although i am unsure on the standby time i think it may be a little high, if not then brilliant.

Click Here for a picture of usage.

As i said though, barely been touching it bar email and the odd text message. I have bluetooth off, wifi off and a few other things all i have on is location services.

I used the phone from 2pm Friday until Saturday evening when it run out on the initial charge. I let it completely run out. Then i was out all of Sunday so it was left off. Put it on charge 12ish yesterday and took it off charge around 3/4 yesterday afternoon and that picture is from 7 minutes ago.
