Well, most companies don't give people a choice when you think about it.
Want the most powerful, all-singing all-dancing Samsung phone, the Galaxy S II?
You HAVE to have a 4.3" screen.

Meh, I have a separate sony mp3 player with all the music on if I want it. I don't use public transport so I guess unless on holiday I normally have plenty of music to hand. I'd like a bigger screen myself, But I will be waiting for iphone 5 or 5s (guessing there will be one) before I upgrade anyway.
Do people really use their phones for proper gaming? I casual game on it but can't get away with touch screen for something complex.

What do you define "proper" gaming as? I wouldn't want to use a touch screen for FPS or 3rd person action games myself, but there are plenty of other games that work well and I don't see how they aren't proper. King of Dragon Pass is a very complex game but perfectly suited to a touch screen, Final Fantasy Tactics can be fairly complex for a portable game, and again works fine with touch.

Pretty sure this hasnt been confirmed, only rumoured to be 1Gb.
Its not currently announced, but if they sell it the same way as the iPhone 4, then yes.

It seems good, but the larger screen must be implemented on the 5. Thats the next upgrade really.

Videos - 300ish (I have a lot of TV series on dvd box sets)
Photos - not a lot
Apps - 50
Hence why I have an iPhone and an iPod Classic.

I don't think Apple have ever announced the RAM and CPU speed for idevices. We always have to wait until someone takes them apart after release.

I suspect it will be 1Gb and this is why only the 4S gets the assistant feature.

Well yeah, Like I said I have a separate mp3 player for my music. not even sure how many songs I have tbh.
Just I'm finding it hard to fill 16gb of space on a phone lol.
Even with these 1-2gb games how many games do you want to carry about with you? I could easy have 3 2gb games and still have space for my stuff.
I don't care what people buy was just trying to help "Tummy" with the choice, by giving them an insight to what kind of space is used.

Deleting apps means losing all saved progress and data for that app. So it can be pretty easy to end up with lots of games you don't want to remove, unless you are the kind of person that only focuses on one or two games until you're certain you never want to use them again.
Anyway, it's obviously something that's going to be different for everyone. But my 32GB 3GS has been completely full for a long time now, so just offering a contrasting experience

It will be 512MB the same as the iPad2. I highly doubt it will be 1GB.

I wouldn't admit it to their faces, but yeah expandable storage would make sense.
I've filled my 32GB iPhone 4. The App Store icon now has eleventy million updates available but it won't let install them as it doesn't have roomI'm pretty sure most people won't need 64GB, it's just an option for people that have loads of music, etc.
However, having the 32GB version would annoy me, so I'd have to get the 64GB one.
.I'm on O2 (£20 p/m SIM only) and whilst I do get unlimited data their 3G coverage is rubbish and speed is slow, so I'll be still keeping things stored locally!

If you delete gamecenter games it pops up a box saying that all your gamecenter info for that game (high scores, achievements) will be lost, and asks if you want to continue. If you say no it just doesn't delete the game IIRC.
iOS5 is supposed to add the ability to sync saves on iCloud, which I'm hoping will help, but developers need to specifically implement it to their games.
