If you have it delivered to store you should pick it up tomorrow. Was in my local store earlier and saw piles of them stacked up on a desk in there back room. If its being delivered to your house then it wont get dispatched till tomorrow. What the manager of the store told me anyhow
 
Put my Apple order ref into UPS tracker (track by reference) and its now showing that they've created a label, UPS waiting for package. Hopefully it'll get sorted and I'll receive it tomorrow. Fingers crossed! Apple site still showing 'preparing shipment' status.
 
Mine still says:

Preparing for Shipment Ships: Ships by October 14th

Which is rather frustrating as the order was placed within a minute of the store coming up last Friday morning.
 
Fret not, you have until 5-7pm tonight for them to send your phones out. I think they are working hard to get them all sent out on time.

I'm in the same boat, I thought getting the order in as early as I did would gaurantee a launch day delivery.

EDIT:

Sod's Law, as I posted this, status changed to Shipped.

I'm off to an o2 store just down the road at 8am tomorrow. Gave them a call and it sounds as though they have plenty of stock.
 
I ordered at approx 8:45 and both of mine are now showing as shipped. (1 changed at about 1am yesterday, the other about 1pm today).

Both are scheduled for delivery tomorrow via TNT.
