***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

Sure way to tell would be to drop aa to 0 and see what the frame rates are. Would be pretty surprised if the titans have sli support and the gtx690's don't as surely that would also effect gtx670/680/770 etc which is a much wider user base. Reading Kaap's post above it does seem that way though. Nvidia dropped the ball big time if this is the case.

Support and GPU usage for both setups is poor. 4 Way sli is not high on NVidias priorities when a new game launches but they do get there in the end.:)

Why don't you try testing one 690 rather than two? Maybe SLI support will be better.

AMD people are you running on the latest 13.10B2 drivers from yesterday?

Yes highly recommended. 1440p Ultra +x4AA 65-100fps, 99% usage pegged on 2x7950's @1125/1500, very smooth, vram 2.3gig usage, caching rises to 2.5-2.6 gig during and at round end.

Looking at the usage over your 4 titan's there is support there, while not great usage over 4 gpu's it looks to be not half as bad as the gtx690's. Could you be cpu limited on the titans at 1600p as well.

Its not always that though as pcper have discovered. It can also represent itself as stuttering or hitching. I'll ask tommy to dig out the graph and article. 4gb 680 was fine, 2gb 680 was not this was in bf3 at 5780x.

BF3 was fine for me at 5760x1080. Well the FPS wasn't but they weren't VRAM amount related slow downs.

Anyway you're not allowed to use PCPer on this forum :p. Having experienced a VRAM related slowdown in both BF3 and MoHWF I can say for certain that the game completely grinds to a halt in a different way to a standard low FPS drop.

Was easy enough to simulate in BF3 - just go into MP with Aero enabled and all graphics pushed up and it would run out of VRAM about 30 mins into the game.

I can force myself to run out or run low on vram. It does not always suddenly equal 1fps. It can present itself as lower fps, hitching, stuttering etc. Pcper's article also confirms this. The fact its regarding Nvidia cards removes any possible bias they have against AMD for now. :D

Tommy will chirp up with the link im sure. :)

EDIT

In other news

680 users reporting no change in FPS regardless of settings used. Vram or PEBKAC or bad drivers? You decide. (not you rusty:p)

i7 @ 4.6g 6870cf playing at 1080, 120h monitor. 55fps, this is about half the fps I'm getting on BF3. All in game settings high and SABO.
A tad disappointing, looks like I'm going to have to upgrade my GFX cards.

EDIT: No AA used and only played Domination map.
