***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

ty for that
is that overclocked too?
what fps is it churning out at that time?

im wondering for the ppl that play at 144hz it could be mantle making it run good on 8threads more benefit than anything gpu side

4.6 3570k, GPU usage is averaging around 90%. FPS at 1080p averaging 60 but dips low in heavy smoke and in certain areas on the map. Game runs smooth with latest nvidia drivers.

For Nvidia users, use the latest Betas (unless you are having issues). So smooth and seems greatly optimized (at least for me it is :D).

Looking for some 670/680/760/770 2GB Only, SLI fps figures at 1440p/1600p using the highest possible settings (ultra preset+x4AA). So far we only have Kaap's 690's at 22fps.

Thanks for the info, I will bookmark the thread. Do I need to un-install my current drivers?

Also my card seems to handle a +150 on afterburner no problem!

I always remove the old drivers then install the new ones. I am on amd atm so maybe a Nvidia user could verify how they are doing it. Removing the old won't do you any harm though.

Mantle in theory should give amd cards another good boost in performance.

Thing is tho... I do not fear this not working well (enough) on Nvidia cards. I doubt Nvidia have had their head in the sand with regards to the new consoles and new about this for a while now as well as probably having their hands on it too as it is open after all.

Remember there is also physx integration on the consoles so that means there must be some sort of tight integration going on and possible.

Well CPU and GPU scaling is 'good'. All 7970 GPU clocks at stock non-GE 925/1375. 3930k is at 4.5GHZ. 40GB RAM.

Settings in-game are FOV max (120?) and Ultra at 1080p.

Windows 8.1 x64 with 13.10 BETA 2.

All GPU's hit 98% scaling at 1080p !

With 3 x 7970s, FPS is 120-145 in the open spaces with no action, spawning from Chinese base - VRAM usage is just over 2GB per GPU at 6.1-6.3GB total.

With 1 x 7970, FPS is about 45-55 fps at same location.

In 1440p with 3 x 7970, frame rate is around 60-70fps, VRAM usage is 7.5GB, so ULTRA with a 2GB card at 1440p is a no-go.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, nvidia aren't just gonna sit back and let AMD do them up the ****. The companies will snoop on each other anyway so nvidia have probably known about this mantle for a while.

really nice results but its when lots people on screen the cpu usage is going to shoot up?

but that is telling us crossfire is working well :)

Seems to be alright for me considering the gpu being used, although in heavy smoke etc my fps do go down.

Rig in sig.

Max beta settings apart from Msaa on 0, FOV 90 and a full server.

Titan really sucks in this game. People with CF 7950 get much more FPS for 60% less money.

Game is optimized for AMD GPU's so you just going to have to suck it up and hope Nvidia get some BF4 performance drivers out.

IMO the game sucks anyway, certainly won't find me upgrading GPU's for it. Turn some settings down, will that kill you to do that?

He doesn't have a Titan - he's trolling. :)

He's Greg's 'mate' :D
