Just benched a round at 1920*1080, full ultra, 4xMSAA, post AA high. GPU usage as low as 40%, compared to 70% at 5900*1080. Max VRAM usage at 2005MB compared to 29xxMB.

Min 47 | Max 193 | Avg 92

just got hope cpu usage goes down with updates, feels to me like it was designed for console refresh rates in mind tho

and im kind of bored of playing it already anyway, lots camping on buildings ftw ><
maybe with more maps ill enjoy it again, i like more close up action in my games

Just ran some tests.
BF4 doesn't like SLI

With SLI = 48 - 75 fps but get jumps that feel like either lag or stuttering
CPU usage = 80%
GPU usage = Jumping from 60% to 96%, all over the place - I guess this is the cause of the stuttering

Without SLI = 30 - 55 fps but the game feels smooth as silk
CPU usage = 70%
GPU usage = 100%

I am using Windows 7, specs in sig.
If the game ran in SLI like it does without SLI but with the FPS boost that SLI should give I'd be happy

Is this a system thing, a beta thing or a graphics driver thing?

As it is a beta and AMD optimized, I would say it will be sorted for Nvidia GPU's in time but patience will be needed for now. It doesn't take nvidia long to sort out SLI profiles though Dave.

Getting about 80 average, sli enabled. Do get stuttering and fps drops, yet to try on a single card. Done a quick bench last night with ht disabled. Felt far worse but to be expected with sli.

Looks like he's running Ultra @ 1440p with MSAA turned off - Link

30-55 FPS at those settings seems rather damn good on an i7-920 with 1 x 670.

Good spot. I'd love to see his FPS at 1440p with x4aa and with the highest possible settings as a comparison to mine.

I am pretty sure that SLI isn't supported yet.

Maybe there is a profile in Nvidia inspector that will work but I have not looked into it.

Scotty and Kaap both have SLI working. If its working on a titan you can be sure its working on a much more popular 670.

Ahhh fair enough. I didn't expect Nvidia to be dragging their heels but as it is an AMD sponsored game, I wasn't sure.

I don't think I am getting any better at this, life expectancy is very low.

I just tried my GTX 690s @1080p and 1600p


1080p Maxed
2013-10-10 07:59:50 - bf4
Frames: 7073 - Time: 78422ms - Avg: 90.192 - Min: 61 - Max: 119


1600p maxed
2013-10-10 08:05:11 - bf4
Frames: 3153 - Time: 36020ms - Avg: 87.535 - Min: 56 - Max: 101

There does not seem to be a huge difference in FPS between 1080p and 1600p

Please excuse the short runs, in the second one I ran straight into a tank.

You ought to try doing what i did Kaap. I played for 20 minutes when i did mine. Otherwise your numbers are always going to be inflated.

Even if I could last that long my setup can not do 1440p.

There was no looking at the sky, but I found myself looking at the ground pretty quick.
