***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

Was that you? What an awesome run you had there!!

I wish, i don't have the patience to play BF4, not with the amount of camping that happens. I mainly play aggro recon CQB...but nothing like that guy.

The amount of game time i have recently compared to back when i used to play FPS games, my aim is probably 10% where it was.

The latest patch seems to have sorted it out. Yay!
No chugging/stuttering and it's completely silky.

Averages have gone up to around 65-70fps (Ultra/4xAA), with the odd minimum of 45-50fps.

i5, I always had faith in ya.

What your score doesn't show is that your team lost because you bribed 30 engineers to keep you safe while you mopped up :p :D.

Believe it or not i had a support guy with an ammo pack on the machine gun who sat in the tank the whole round and survived with me. He had slow reactions so i mopped up most of the kills with my machine gun. The tank got blown up right near the end as i advanced. I hopped out in time and scrambled away with 3% heath. He stayed in the tank and became a statistic.

Feels much smoother post update. Hardly any stutter now, bar when in vehicles where i see a few cpu spikes on the perf overlay. Quick bench on obliteration, (great game mode btw).

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
14350, 180000, 49, 132, 79.722

1920x1200, x4msaa, ultra settings.

Not sure what all this nonsense about i5's still being fine for the game. Not if you run SLI/Xfire.

Still only getting ~70 usage on my 670s and 100% use on all cores of my i5.

Its fine if you have a single 670/680/7950/7970 but with only one of those you aren't going to be pushing much more than ~60fps at 1080p and full ultra which an i5 can manage.
