***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

Interesting. That's on haswell though. I bet the gains are much smaller on sandy, for example. (i hope :p) I'm sure 8pack said the other day the memory scaling on haswell was immense. Anyway would be nice to see this tested on a sandy and ivy setup imo.

I've noticed significant difference in some games and general system responsiveness after overclocking my corsair pro series from 1866mhz to 2133mhz (9.10.11.1T)

I bet you batter them in COD, Ranger :D

What seriously??? Not one person even groaned... I am in the wrong plaice and wasting my talents :o

This is the first time i've considered getting a Battlefield game for console instead, PS4.

Had no end of crashing and Battlelog problems with BF3 on my 570s at the time.

Don't trust this will be any different.

If you do upgrade and Matt's RAM does come from the states OK can I be next in line. I give you top price. Love you long time. Uh hum...

Lol. Its looking likely it will dave. Willl drop you a trust when i know for sure so you can be next in line.

Has anyone managed to get an overlay working with the full game? RadeonPro overlay doesnt seem to be working!

EDIT

Nevermind afterburner seems to be stopping it from working. Need to enable afterburner after launching the game.

Not enjoying BF4 so far. Game feels stuttery as hell. Pulled up the performance graph and i can see why. Cpu spikes all over the place.

The weird thing is there is no stutter until you press a move forward/backwards/sideways button on the keyboard. Below you can see the what it does to the cpu line as i press forward. If i stand still the cpu line is flat.

I had the same problem with very high settings, turn them down a little. i can't remember what setting caused it. play with the settings and see what happens.

Drivers lol

I know you're just trolling but this is a game issue, the massive cpu spikes are the giveaway.

I don't like the sound of that. Can't believe they still haven't fixed this crap. How hard can it be.

Wait, what?...

Oh wait. It was today wasn't it. LOL :D.

Will get downloading tonight :)

Shame Mantle wasn't going to be at game launch. Wonder if that's why the DX version is a little sloppy.

They said they fixed that crap during the BETA, it improved it, it didn't fix it, you could also try turning HT off, i wonder if thats the problem, its not to uncommon for HT to cause issues with games that are not well optimised for it.

This is considerably worse performance than i got in the beta. If i use low/medium/high its much better but according to my fps i have enough for Ultra with either x2 AA or x4 AA.
