***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

Didn't see that one :) i'm looking at Matts bench, GTX 660TI out done by 270X CF (7790's)

AMD had something like 20% extra CF scaling with 13.11 B7. its a new game, i have no doubt Nvidia will improve it, i did say "currently" :)

isnt it the 260x that are 7790's
270 is 7870

I would like to put forward to OP and mods that this thread's title be changed to:

***THE BF4 PERFORMANCE THREAD***

Or something to that effect. Or in fact start using another thread as this is 3300+ posts big and is 50% rubbish.

What say you?

Agreed ^^^

look at them compared to what a single 290 will be tho(290x minus 5%?), thats kind of messed up to me
same cost, 2 cards to 1

HWinFO64
Reports 2GBvram not enough @1080p mine showing it over @2060MB vRam
This is without MSAA also.

After couple rounds of Conquest 64players
Min - 338
Max 4129 - Been told half that Xfire = 2060vram

Yeah need a 2GB user to mirror what you're doing really as cards use more if they've got excess available. Basically a Titan may use, say 2.5GB, in the same scenario as you.

Thought this was interesting, not sure if it's been posted here.

Edit: Removed, swearing in video.

Suggest that quoted video be removed also.

A lot of people on the Nvidia side do this because they have had good SLI for a while, it makes good sense to them to get the same or better performance for less or the same money as one GPU, and they would be right.
a lot of people buy SLI 760's. before that it was SLI 660's.

With AMD's CF now getting to be as good as SLI we might start to see this happening with AMD.

Certainly CF 7950's is very appealing to me, but at the same time i really like the idea of having a 290, even if its a bit slower at the same money, ish.

Pc loooks for better than the PS4 in that vid,

Quick question guys, i'm moving back to windows 8 today after a few issues with 8.1, will i be missing out on any key features on BF4 or performance increases?

AFAIK it's the jump from windows 7 to 8/81 that gives the performance, and not 8 to 8.1.

Anyone care to help in clarifying?

No mate BF4 does not and likely will not ever support DX11.2, so nothing to lose by staying on 8. (Dev's words)
