***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

I keep reading that BF4 runs much better on W8.1 due to the CPU and GPU being able to be utilized more efficiently on the API that Dice used via W8.1, supposedly so much faster than even the Xbone (Which runs W8) will have an advantage over the PS4 version despite the PS4's better hardware.

As Battlefield is mainly what I play atm, I'm gonna switch back to W8.1 and install all latest drivers, see if it is indeed faster.

Not a fan of re formating lol, Ninite makes it a lot less painful though.
 
well, now Fraps is going, getting solid 60 on ultra 4msaa and high post. CPU usage is surprisingly very low, highest usage seems to be 47% but average looks to be in the high 30s. GPU usage on both cards 67% highest, guessing cause im at 1080 with vsync at 60.

Will try out MP after I scoff down my Pizza hut, thats where Im guessing will see the CPU loads high hehe.

Oh on windows 8.1
 
Just had a few games, seems very laggy in places, but playable, awesome looking graphics.

Scorescreen looks a little rough on the edges / image blurry ..

Might wait a few days and go hard

avg of 92, not bad :)
maybe we all need include the OS running as maybe there's a big difference between windows 7 & 8.1 :o
 
i still duno the difference between 8 & 8.1 is it just the silly menu stuff or is there directx differences &/or framework difference
