Having messed around with the settings a little, the following in multiplayer gives a near locked 120fps frame rate @ 1080p with 3x7970 at stock:

Ultra Settings then switch off all AA, switch Mesh to high and SSAO.

I will play with overclocked settings but I am very happy with my temps and the performance, it is a massive, massive performance jump over BF3 in almost all respects (bugs aside).

There is absolutely zero microstutter.

Only played it briefly, but gotta say it looks fantastic and runs very well on my system. I was thinking of a change of gpu, but think ill leave it for the time being.

Would be good matt to compare 7950s in crossfire vs 290X, i'm up for it if you want but bare in mind i'm at 1080p.

Ah i forgot why i enabled vsync. I get massive cpu spikes with vsync off. So benchmarking is going to be largely pointless until this gets fixed. I play with vsync on and i get no spikes and performance is smooth. I could run a 1440p vsync bench just to see if i ever dip below 60 but theres no chance of me dipping below 60fps at 1080P Ultra preset.

Open fraps, pick which corner you'd like the fps display in, minimize it and start game.

man im about to throw the damn mouse at the screen lmao.

I start Fraps, pick a corner, minimise, start my game which launches the stupid browser and its here that my FRAPS counter stays in the top left corner

no its not its driving me frigging crazy, it stays on the battlelog web browser, even when i minimize that and even close the battlelog down

Just go in BF4 press " ` " and put this in "PerfOverlay.DrawFps 1" and you'll have ur FPS in game, you're welcome
