The game is buggy. Softcore mode sucks, half a clip to kill someone unless you get a headshot. Urgh.

That said i know ill love the full version when i can move over to hardcore and hopefully the game is more polished with less bugs and more performance.

Yup! I think it's a bit dull too. Runs fine here with a 780 though, no crashes stutter or glitches. Don't know FPS but it was pretty smooth.

Does this not make you regret purchasing the Deluxe edition over Premium?
 
For the skeptical i.e Rusty.. these are the settings I am using below, screengrab taken straight from the video, you have to go custom to make all settings @ ultra. Default ultra puts some things on high, but then you would know that.. Why would I say it ran ok if it didn't? Some of you guys are just weird :rolleyes:.

Drivers will only get better, pretty impressed for such an early beta.

Put your FOV up to at least 82. What's the matter with you? :p

Why don't you run fraps to prove your fps?

I turned mine all the way up.

Also only 2xAA in that screenshot, I'd class running full Ultra as everything maxed.
 
15 pages and not a single screenshot !

Reading all 15 pages seems people are suggesting BF3 looks and runs better, but few are suggesting BF4 looks better.... perhaps this really is as beta as it gets.

Think as one person suggested few pages back, reserve judgement for final version with mature optimised BF4 drives, most likely end of next month if not before Xmas!

Haha, I turned FOV up but it looked kinda weird, like motion sickness inducing / fishbowl look weird, dropped back to default and was fine. I do up the FOV on most games, this just didn't look right? Might be my dodgy old eyes.

Yeah I only run Ultra w 2XAA as I'm on 1440P. I can't really tell difference between 2XAA and 4XAA at this resolution. I mean the settings are fine for me, that's how I run BF3 as well. I'm just glad it's around 60fps, if it was any lower I would have justified a 290X purchase. So yeah pretty happy with my 780 right now. Hopefully will run Watchdogs and Witcher 3 ok, might not need an upgrade for a long while.
 
Btw the game looks ****poor once skyscraper down and you cant see **** all.

It's like 9/11.. I know thats what they aiming for but when skyscraper is down early game it really ruins it for me tbh..
 
Just had a shot - defo looks better than BF3!!

With my 2gb gfx card set @ 1280/3400 and CPU @ 4.6 I was surprised it actually played lol

Ultra preset - unplayable - getting lows of 25 and highs of 39 - VRAM useage 1981MB
High preset - playable! - getting lows of 30 and highs of 55 - VRAM useage 1891MB

Not exactly scientific testing I know - but was just a quick 20 minute burst - all I got time for today.

EDIT: Using WHQL drivers and not the BETA ones.

Seeing some really low minimums, looks like both sides are waiting on some optimizations in future drivers.

Captain Obvious I know but I couldn't play with spikes down to 19fps.
 
Ah my GTX675m is crying (no suprise) 20-30fps at 1920x1080 with all settings maxed.

EDIT: Seems to be some kind of bug - fullscreen with any settings between low and ultra = 20-30fps, windowed mode anything below ultra = ~70fps.
