Had a quick benchmarking session as i've not done it since 13.12 i think.
Will test some more maps tomorrow.
Played as an Engineer in all games and tried not to stay static for more than a few seconds where possible.

Cheers pal, the only issue i have now is heat:( hence the card at stock,
moved into a new place and it's like a damn oven constantly, which of course has raised temp by quite a bit unfortunately.

so for now at least i'm running it at stock, which in truth is fine, the card is more than powerful enough.
 
Mantle 32bit vs 64bit Wow!

First time I have used 32bit in BF4 and its with Mantle not tried DirectX yet.

The difference 64bit makes is unreal, I never thought it would be that much. Could be very different on DX11 though.

Mantle didn't work on 32 bit last time i tried, but that was a while ago. DX11 works fine though, but im sure performance was lower than 64 bit.

DirectX - not sure but 32bit did feel more smoother lol not sure but looking at the Performance Graph of Both DX you can see its all over the place. So as you can see 64bit DX vs Mantle on my system the boost is unreal.

~130 FPS is roughly what i get with Mantle, but because of my crumy CPU its up from ~60, not 85. :o
 
Single card yes but not on flat out Ultra Preset, if i turn the IQ settings down a bit yes, the GPU does not have enough grunt to do 130 FPS there on Ultra Preset.

I don't actually know what it is, i think its about 80 or 90.

Ok I was going to say, why you getting same FPS as Xfire on Ultra. There me thinking something was up lol
 
What os are you guys running? Win7 64 here, but during my "research" earlier, there seems to be a concensus that win8/8.1 gives a better experience. I can get 8.1 for free but unsure about installing it after all ive read.

I am on W7 for now but as soon as I go Fibre BB, I will be switching to W8. I CBA messing about, so want to start a fresh and not wanting to DL at 500K a second :(

Shankly Mantle does not work on 32bit. I just tried launching the game via 32 bit and there is no Mantle option. Mantle is 64 bit only!

I also see no performance difference (during my brief test) between 32 bit and 64 bit on DX. If there is a difference its small.

There is something up with the BF4 servers i think. I get a minor cpu lag spike every minute or so regardless of if i use DX or Mantle. That was not there when i last played so something is up.

Mantle still offers the superior gaming experience. DX is horrid in comparison to Mantle.
