Crossfire (somehow) running in Windowed mode using Mantle at 4K. Watch in 1080P. :)


 
70 to 90 FPS All Ultra + 2x MSSA @ 4K.

Thats great, but what about something a little more demanding than Metro? :)
 
Currently downloading this new patch but it's taking forever. On a side note, popped onto our ol bf3 server last night. Quick 10 mins on bazzar and it was fantastic, dropping people at crazy range with the M4A1, moving targets as well which i can barely hit in bf4, 3x double kills with that gun and a triple with land mines to finish the round. Finished up 23/18 in that short time, my usual good quota of deaths of course, albeit i got tk'd 3 or 4 times. If they can get bf4 to run as smooth as 3 does now it'd be such a better game. I still hold out a bit of hope tbh as bf3 did take quite a while to get right.

The tick rate increase is now live Setts in BF4. Feels a lot better. :)
 
Happy days, patch almost complete. Been having a lot of issues lately with origin downloads failing. Will nip on for a blast when done.
 
Nice one scotty. Was that one round, or more than one round? I'm convinced resolution scaling uses more vram than using the actual resolution.

About 20 mins, as just testing patch out - seems sweet :)

Agreed on the vram, I used more on my 1600 screen when using scaling.
 
I think earlier on in this thread we did some caparisons of native 1440p vs internal res scale, the difference was less then 200mb iirc.

Might pop on later to try the new patch, though I keep going back to bf3, bazzar is one hell of a map, carnage without the metro style bottlenecks.
 
just starting playing the l-sat - it's a machine!! Anyone noticing any improvement of netcode - what are you setting the high frequency thing in settings to?
 
There's an option to change the tickrate guys. I've not touched it myself, if you have a decent connection and pc id recommend setting it as high as it will go. Default is maximum, i think.
 
There any guidelines as to what it should be set at for what ping etc...? Its a rare occasion I'm less then 30ms, usually closer to 40ms so I can go annoy germans :p

No. Like a blind man at an orgy, you're going to have to feel things out.
