***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

Yeah, it is kinda funny, but my OC'd single card results stand with your OC single card results and my OC'd Xfire/cpu results significantly outshine shankly's results.

You know how it works, so c'mon mate :)

Shankly done goofed, so I can't deny that, but you are baiting the **** out of him tbf :p

Whilst you know I love you to bits, I can't help but feel that responses like this:

Your being deliberately uneducated about this Greg, why is mystery as anyone with a minimal level of knowledge about this can see straight through it.

Mantle is alleviating the CPU bottleneck for Shankly, on a CPU bound map he gets 30% higher minimums than you with a much weaker stock CPU.

Even i'm getting 10% higher Minimums than you with a CPU thats only about half as powerful.

I might Tweet that ^^^

Make me sad. Shankly did Goof up and he knows it but it then becomes bitter, so this is where I will step away. If I mess up, I am happy to take some stick and I consider it deserved (in real life as well) but the good ol internet results in harmless banter turning nasty, so apologies Shankly for taking the mickey (there was no offence meant and I had no intention of tweeting anything) and it looks nice and smooth with crossfire (mine is a stuttering mess with Tri-SLI).

And yep, from that video of mine and Humbugs run, Humbug is indeed getting 10% higher frames than me and I did mess up and you are getting better frames than me all round :) Nice one :)

I honestly don't care and I thought the idea of Mantle was to alleviate the CPU bottleneck? For the record, my CPU has been giving me some grief lately and it is and was at stock clocks for that run and all the other game recordings I have done. So in terms of Mantle relieving the bottleneck and you needing Crossfire to literally scrape past me, nope I am not getting it :D

Also, you have aliasing off and you have no recording software giving any form of performance hit, but that's neither here nor there and I am quite happy to be the victor in this AMD sponsored game.

Might tweet this as well, as it is top comedy :D

AA off? I have msaa 4x and post off

The problem is half the time its impossible to tell when your engaging in banter and when / 'or if' your just being a ####.

If its just a bit of fun i apologise, for what its worth i would really like it if we all just got a long, no matter what hardware we favour :)

Do you guys oc your cards for gaming? I'll be honest I just run stock for games, oc'd for benching with the pair in sig. Did run my 670's oc'd for everyday use. CPU is only at 4.7 which is ample for sli in bf4.

O and one thing if you going to post videos, it would help if the settings was also included.. Am not saying if Greg is or isn't but to me

Now correct me if am wrong, but does my game look better? his seems dull?

Edit
Quick test it would seem having higher FOV draws more effects... than at stock 70 fov

Yeah, a reference 290 runs at 947/1250, mine run at 1040/1350, i run it at 1125/1400 just for the hell of it, its never needed but i feel like i'm not getting my monies worth if i don't overclock it at least a bit, i could run it at 1200/1500 24/7 if i wanted to.
