Right at the very start, after you show the settings it is dropping 50 odd frames and you are not even moving. Something looks wrong with that and with nothing happening on screen, I wondered if it wasn't temp related or the game or Mantle?
It was a genuine question, as I don't recall that ever happening to me at 4K and frames would stay solid in static positions.

64 [Hor+ 80] looks ok, slightly like everything has an eating dissorder, but perfectly fine.
I will try your suggestion later, i have to run some errands now.

Iirc I used some fov calculator site, cant remember what one though. As your on 1080p it may well look a bit different from my 16:10 aspect ratio.

I just had a quick look at 200% scaling from 1080P (3840x2160 effective) and my line is very good. Not as flat as a single card but very smooth. I didn't get any big drops like you are getting, which is strange and I wonder if there isn't something going on?

200% is a no go here with max settings, no msaa and high is playable enough. 150% is no problem. That's with the games inbuilt scaling. DSR offers a good range of resolutions to try.

4K is actually only about 5%-10% or so more demanding than 200% res scaling at 1080P i found. There is not a huge amount of difference in it.

When you use Mantle, you have to remove engine frame rate limits otherwise the cards don't get a work out.

Nah, I have also had enough and I don't even like the game but it was good banter between me and Shankly. A shame others didn't take it that way but that is OcUK for ya and I should have known what to expect.
