Yeahhh I know iv'e dabbled with it but I just haven't taken to rhe idea yet. Maybe when 8.1 arrives as that's only a week or two away now apparently.
That makes sense. Looking forward to 8.1 I might do a fresh install for 8.1 in anticipation of the battlefield 4 full release.

Anyone found a fix for this "stuck at loading screen issue"?
Not been able to have a game since this morning because of it.

Wow, pretty big difference. Is this problem only affecting Nvidia users?
Pretty glad i just moved to Windows 8 after installing my new SSD the other day
I bought it for £25 ages ago but havent used it till now. I figured that with the 8.1 update coming soon, i would take the leap. I quite like it so far and everything seems to be working fine.

I never thought the day would come, I know its only Beta. But when £1100 worth of GFX cards are struggling to get much more than 60fps not even on the highest settings. PC gaming may have died a little for me.
The BF3 beta was never as bad as this, that beta made me want to buy BF3 even more, this is just putting me off BF4

780 Sli, and 4670k @1080. Settings on Default High.

From what I understand this build of the game is before e3. This beta is more about server testing than frame rate etc.
Just go and watch some e3 footage and then this beta footage it's very clear we using a out of date build.

something else i've come across, while the game plays great on ultra with no aa, it's always felt like i have bad input lag, so looking in the game options i tried putting network smoothing in game to off and it seems much better!
Anyone else tried it yet?

Something wrong their? Is your 4670K @ stock speeds? A single 780 is fine for 1080P / 1440P, with two you should be betting very high fps. How much system ram do you have? Is your PSU decent?
