***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

Just spoken to a friend that was having issues with input lag.
Told him that when i put network smoothing factor to off in the game options it felt much better, he's confirmed it too.
Have a look guys.

U Nvidia users have had this poor performance before and not so long ago either.. lets just call it the Sleeping Dogs syndrome :)

I'm sure future drivers are gona fix these issues along with a more optimized final release.

Yep, just ran a few tests, defo CPU the cards aren't going over 57% usage.

May have to crank the gigawatts up on the CPU. If it's still struggling, what would be a better choice of CPU.

I may actually install Windows 8.1(?) on the 60GB SSD to see if there's a difference!

I can always use Desktop mode :p

Anyone had any crashes? Just had 'bf4.exe has stopped responding' mid way through a round.

I was having a lot with radeon pro on so I turned it off.

When I was in a vehicle I was getting crashes so stopped using them.

Still get crashes now but not as many :)

Hey Matt how is ur 2700K doing with BF4? Cant wait to see how mine does @ 4.5GHz tho i can go higher anyway. I'd like to see how a 5GHz OC does in terms of usage on my system :)

Ah good its not only me then, PSU I think is on its last legs, took 4 attempts to boot from cold today. Just making sure its not something associated :( :p

Hm, seriously tempted to get an i7. In Crysis 3 my 2500k was bottlenecking my 670's in sli, even at 1080p maxed out and 4xMSAA. In the heavy grass animation bits GPU usage was dropping and my i5 was getting maxed out.

Looks like a similar thing will be happening in BF4 when i try it.

hm, dont know whether to just live with it till Intel deliver something more than just an incremental increase though.....
