I love when the 'realism' debate turns up in a computer game discussion. I've not been in the army, but I imagine the comparison between running around with a gun and a backpack and sitting infront of a screen with a keyboard and mouse should end any realism debate.
In real life do you get an orange triangle above the enemies head? No.
In real life is you enemy on a computer screen and you kill them by clicking on them with a mouse? Not for infantry at least. I would've thought compared to this massive difference an orange triangle is so minor it pales into insignificance.
The day when computer games get even close to realistic I'm gonna stop playing violent ones!
Of course, I may be wrong, maybe HC BF3 is what all the top military use to train their soldiers due to it's realism...
