I've said before, I prefer Hardcore mode, at least in CoD, because of the 'features' of the mode, but I'm not going to claim it's realistic. I think in this context 'more realistic' is a pointless distinction. I mean I respawn after I die, that seems to move it so far away from realistic that comparisons are silly.

Ah jeez, come on people. Can we just not accept that some people find hardcore mode a little more realistic in certain aspects? I don't see how saying something like that is "disrespectful to the men and women that have lost their lives in armed conflicts." I'm lost for words.

You cannot compare real life combat to a soddin game. It's not disrespectful! What is disrespectful is people thinking they can compare real life combat to a game.
 
Saying hardcore is more realistic than normal mode IS NOT THE BLOODY SAME as saying hardcore is realistic.

Get over yourselves, comprehend what has been said and keep it in context.

Hardcore mode is MORE realistic than normal mode. Expressing preference in terms of realism is perfectly legitimate.

My rig - 1440p, GTX 680 2GB in SLI, 2600k at stock.

When I enable the Performance Overlay Graph, the yellow CPU line is waaaaaaaaaaaay below the green. Settings are on auto (which means most on Ultra and 4x MSAA)

Does this sound right?

EDIT: Using latest Nvidia drivers *beta*

Should be ok with most single gpu solutions so long as you apply a good overclock. However the cpu won't have enough grunt to effectively power two gpu's. This is based on beta performance and could improve come the final build.

I think so. How is performance?

I'm expecting (hoping :D) for much better overall performance with the final build. Game is really buggy i think.

Performance is atrocious! Stuttering like a mofo, even on LOW settings. On the Auto settings, I have nearly maxed GPU Memory usage (like 1965 MB) and on the lowest its about 1800....
