at worst you'd have to lower AA to x2 at worst.
That isn't going to make any difference to the i5 bottleneck

That isn't going to make any difference to the i5 bottleneck. If anything if he is being bottlenecked by the CPU he should turn the AA up! might as well.
Yeah, it will perform better. As you say, this doesn't mean that an i5 will be unplayable or poor.
For full ultra on a 7970 for example, I'd still guesstimate that at worst you'd have to lower AA to x2 at worst.
It will be playable on an i5, none of us knows how well or badly yet.
Lowering any settings isn't maxed out. Plus we haven't seen the full game yet, there could be maps that are far more intensive.
VRAM issues, i think.
I'm running everything on Ultra + 2x MSAA @ 1080P, my VRAM is anything from 1600MB to 1900MB + and i'm getting random crashes, always when the VRAM is in the 1900MB range, it also only happens when i run those very high settings and the VRAM runs near the limit.
2GB card.
Scaling is good on AMD, i heard its horrible on Nvidia. But idk.
I'm running 2gb at 1080p 4xMSAA full ultra and get no crashes or vram related issues.
How much VRAM are you using?
Sure, I've stated that a few times already in this thread.
As for fully maxed out and averaging 60fps solid, ok, fine. Personally, I think dropping to 2xAA isn't an issue for all but the most petty of graphics whores, but that's me![]()
Think it was about 1890mb when I have looked.

Can't get this to run on my lads 2500k and 770 Lightning
Tried all sorts![]()
Turn Aero off, should rule out VRAM issues. I get random crashes as well, but i'm running a 3GB card....Terrible game if the beta is anything to go by, so doubt i'll be playing any time soon.
What happens?
Gpu usage all over the place and stuttering big time - even with lower settings.
Been at it all day trying to sort - re inslalling everything as we speak
Buggy game coupled with an i5.
Temp solution use Windows 8.
Best solution wait for the final build of the game and upgrade to an i7.
