***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

Do you get any of these problems Pete given youre on a similar setup?

I get buttery smooth gameplay with the occasional stutter for a second or so.
It doesn't happen in every round and doesn't matter what's happening onscreen or how many players are in the server.

ED: Didn't DG mention that dice were aware of the issue and were in the process of fixing it?

It kind of makes me sad when i5 + GK104 people whine about stuttering.

There's nothing in the GK104 architecture that would cause it to stutter. It's a combination of things: Windows 7, i5, un-optimised game and drivers... the list could go on.

Now I know you were trolling but I thought I'd give you the benefit of the doubt and answer you properly.

Pack it up trolling - there's nothing to be gained trying to wind people up that are having genuine issues with pathetic point scoring based on their GPU manufacturer of choice.

All im saying is that there seems to be a connection with W7, i5s and semi-weak Nvidia cards on BF4.

When they're clocked up they perform round about on par with their overclocked AMD equivalents (give or take 5%). Not bad for the spec differences and a "semi-weak" card.

p.s. that isn't a word

FALSEHOOD ! :D

also hyperthreading is non sense in bf4.

also people with 2 cards yes we know i7 is better than i5 with two cards. with one card no difference. waits for next troll :p

the news about EA being aware of the stuttering issue is on bf4 battlelog lol . do you not read mfers !

Those benchmarks are far from conclusive. The comments also say they were done on an empty server.

Where's the link then? All I've seen is that they're investigating some performance problems. Nothing about i5s.
