The perfect disguise!

Damn, I've now got a spell for conjure dremora lord but it says I don't have enough magicka to conjure it. Looks like I need to be expert level mage around level 75 to use it as it costs 286 magicka, and my conjure is 34. I never focused on magic much, I've developed one and two handed combat instead.

You could dual enchant some jewellery with fortify magicka and fortify Conjuration, so that would make conjuration spells cost less and raise your magicka at the same time

That's a good idea. The only potion I have at the moment is draught of extra magicka which increases magicka 40 points for 60 seconds. I guess that might also help after I've fortified some jewellery.

I think my enchanted necklace was +70 magicka and conjuration spells cost 25% less to cast :D. You can do the same with a ring as well and probably some other bits of armour.

Just to remind people the sheer importance of saving often in this game. I've had to go back to an earlier save, but thankfully I've only lost 20 mins time. I have an OCD save ritual that I do when I get the game for the night. I quick save, hard save, quick save then quit :D Just to make sure :)

There is a serious bug in the main quest. If you have already started the civil war quest (ie shown an interest in joining a side) but have not taken the oath with the imperials or stormcloaks yet, you cannot talk to General Tulious/Ulfric Stormcloak to get him to join the peace council. So easy I thought, I'll take the oath. So I did, but when I went back to High Hrothgar, no matter where I sat, they kept saying "take your seat so we can begin" and there was no quest marker on any seat. I had to load a save from before taking the oath, and reset the quest via the console.

Just a heads up of the severity of the bug. Alternately,
you can complete the civil war quest before this quest is available.

Urgh Steam's ****** directories **** me off.

How the hell am I supposed to mod skyrim when all the damn files are in weird .bsa files or w/e??

Er... what? You do know .bsa is pretty much the standard bethesda file and absolutely nothing to do with steam right?

The perfect disguise!

Works far better wearing Dark Brotherhood armour...

...or going naked :p
