Just a heads up for anyone thinking of buying Season 4 on Blu-ray. At the moment this is only available on US disc which, it turns out in a rare move for Universal, has been hard locked to Region A. So unless you have a Region A or Multiregion player you will be SOL and get the not compatible screen when the disc loads up.
We found out the hard way on Thursday evening. Unfortunately over 3 months since we bought from Amazon US as we left it sitting on the shelf. Too late to return even though, at the time of sale, there was no disclosure about regional locking. So back to watching on Amazon prime until/if there is a UK/region B release.
Going to send Amos round for a little chat with them...Quite frankly, I think it is high time you emailed their support and asked for the GPS of their letterbox....
For some reason I watched the first few episodes and didn't get on with it. Which is odd as most of my friends were surprised. Especially the ones who like similar shows
Took me 3 attempts to get through season 1 and now as it's apparent from my posts, it's one of my favourite ever shows.
Thing to remember, it takes a full 4 episodes to build characters and let you really get a feel for everyone...S1 is a fairly slow burn story anyway. Just persevere until the end of episode 4, that's normally the turning point for most people.
It's also worth mentioning that season 3 was the 2nd highest rated TV season of all time on RT second to season 5 of Breaking Bad for a time and still maintains a very strong positive score.

100% fresh, 97% user/audience score.
Like most actors, she simply plays it however she's told to play it...Dominique really failed to nail the essence of her back story.

Or when the director directs them to...and actors often get the rap for bad lines (when the script writers deserve that)
I found quite a few of the main cast to be weak on season 1, but they improved a lot as it went along. Her acting in particular is much better now than season 1, so I have no issues with it now.
