Had my 580 type-r around a year now still going strong silent and stable ;)

Whats the betting when I push the submit button below it'll blow up and I'll find a small crater where my house was when I arrive home :p

Also been running 24/7, seti and now folding for a year.

I've had two, current one I've had since February 2006.

Neither exploded... but the build quality on both of them is terrible.

Mine are stable, but I've recieved one where the interior of the box had been ripped open. The wrapper torn, the 20/24 pin ATX power clip is broken (the part that keeps the two together doesn't even exist on my current Hiper!?). One of the graphics card power cables doesn't actually fit into the card... Rather than one side of it being rounded off they've left it completely square.

I gave up RMAing it after the terrible service I had the first time round.

I've had to use a 2x Molex splitter to power the 7800GT thats in my Media Centre :rolleyes:

Neither one blew up, but they are still pants if you ask me.

These are Hiper 580 Type-R's.

A mates coincidentally, that was around 14 months old blew up last month.
