right could someone help pls.

ive reduced graphics now and can see the red things now :p im finding droppings and foot tracks but what im not sure about is the bars on the pda thingy :confused:

i assume that when you have more bars the closer the deer is yes?

also sometimes when i get a track im following i get a circle in dashes around trail.does this mean the deer is in that radius of the circle on my pda?

i actually seen my first two deer but was a bit to far to shoot :( and galloped off :mad::p

any help appreciated.

The blue bars are like a Sound Meter, so 1 bar means you need to make less noise than you do if the bar is full, so stalk/crawl instead of run/walk

The circle is just an estimate of how far the Deer is away from your location and will only show up after you get 3 tracks in the HunterMate.

Try this method, run around on the roads until you hear a Deer, a bleat is a Doe and a grunt is a Buck(Stag) use the Huntermate to see it's location, head there walk speed until you find the red tracks, if the tracks match the Buck you heard a second red dot appears on the HunterMate, ignore any New Trails found as you'll find loads when you're actively tracking a trail, as soon as you find the third track, Huntermate will show you the distance and direction, now use your Call and just stay crouched and scan the direction where the Buck is going to be coming from, works every time and you don't waste time tracking Does :)

If you spook the Buck, just wait it out it won't go far at all. Also you will get Does coming in to the Call you made too, just ignore them until the Buck or Bucks show up.

is it bad i teabgged the deer about 15 times till it disappeared? :(
 
Okay so I've reached level 2 on tracking - and played for about half an hour more - and for some reason haven't been able to spot a single piece of deer evidence! No red ring, no droppings, no blood and no foot prints... ;p

When you get to level 2 do the red circles just disappear and you have you really track - because that may be very very hard :eek:
 
im level 3 tracking and the red dots still stand out like a saw thumb to me :p
im also tempted to buy the 3 month licence now, just to see what its like with the other weapons and different animals to hunt

Hmm do you have it on min settings - heard this helps spot the red rings... Might have to give it a go ;)

Thing that bugs me though is I was pretty good at spotting the rings, now it seems they've completely disappeared :p
 
yep i had it on full settings at first and couldnt see nothing much.as soon as i lowered it i started to spot the red markings . once you seen them few times you seem to zone in on them.
