70c is safe enough but I wouldn't want to go much hotter tbh. Time to think about investing in some better cooling ;).
 
Yeah a decent watercooling setup will drop the temps but what you have to decide is is the few extra 100mhz worth it?
 
no dont think it is m8,can live without that extra speed,plus the stress prime puts on your cpu no other programme wil do it whe your in windows will it m8,

Fair point mate. I was happy to see 4 less on the cpu, 2-4 less on the cores for an increase in FSB - I got carried away ;)

fwiw: The cpu sensor reads 61, avg core 70.5

And Everest is 5c higher than TAT on two cores.
