The Intel Quadcore Database

No thats fine but the problem is it isn't gonna help anyone know what to expect from there chip as they dont know what your chip is. I'll enter it regardless as I understand that most havn't taken the FPO.

I guess its easy to forget to take note of the FPO when its OEM and only on the chip.

I would still like to know what FPO these OEMs are though :p

380mhz sounds about normal for the P965 boards.

I forgot to mention i bought a P35-DS3r with the chip and yet i cant get past 380mhz, if i try prime at 380 2 of the cores fail almost straight away, even though i had been playing Crysis / etwq for 2 - 3 hours.

I even try putting CPU voltage to 1.5 to see if that would help would help but it's simply a no go at the voltage on air (zalman 9700).

looks like i wasted money buying a new board, all i wasnt is 400 x 9 :(

Even upfated to the new bios.

Musx64 -

Are you sure you ran 'small fft's'? Both your screenshots show 1024k length tests running when the max should be 8-64k?

If you could run small fft's that would be better as thats the same test everyone else has run and it would be unfair of me to enter your results as its not the same test. Sorry m8.

Thanks I will Redo the test, is there a version of coretemp that works on Vista 64, as I am using PC Wizard 2008 ?

Please can someone help, " I think I'm going mad"

I had everything going fine and submitted my results then borked my OS so reinstalled and now I can't get prime to run 4 cores, I know how to set it up the old way A -0 A -1
But when I did it last time I just downloaded the latest Prime ran it and it worked a treat, a worker thread and each core shown in boxes cascaded below.

What am I doing wrong?

Isnt A -0 A -1 the old way to get ORTHOS to run on two cores?

Download Prime95 and it will detect how many cores you have.

**edit* beaten to it :)
