now that is impressive, shame the board dont have dual 16x PCI-E slots. I miss my 500+ fsb overclocks.
reckon my Q9300 would do it aswell.

1. You aint showing prime95 (all cores).
2. You don't have FPO.
3. You don't show core temp.

The FPO I have let slide in the past but I gotta draw the line somehwere otheriwse the thread will end up a mess with folk posting alsorts of temp/voltage monitors etc. Post up a screeny following the OP and I'll add you in m8. Continuity of the thread is required for it to be anywhere near usefull.

8x PCI-E V2 can provide just as much bandwidth as 16x PCI-E V1.1.

Yeah but I already have x38 so must be v2 anyway.
Maybee x58 will do the trick for me, certainly not going P45 for 500 fsb what I gain in one I will lose in another.
Still got 480 fsb, will do 485 at a push.

sorry, it has to be said: anyone pushing 4.0+GHz ON AIR, must forever forfeit rights of snifflage.

sorry, and please don't post any P45 results ;)

I think its too hard to keep temps down on air for huge overclocks, especially NB. I certainly gained a lot more FSB switching to water.
Air purists will argue the toss, but I see a big improvement in watercooling.

well I wouldnt say I am a purist just like to push the envelope tbh I never had any issue with NB temps on my clocks and all were done with 4 sticks of RAM..

:o
Will redo it then I suppose.
Not going to be able to get FPO though as I've sanded it off the heatspreader and the OEM box is long gone.
No problem in using core temp though, even though it's wrong :p :D

Think your be fine with that FSB, I am more on about when pushing towards and beyond 500 with a quad, maybee I should have explained myself better.
