The Intel Quadcore Database

Have been very naughty with my volts just to see what I could get 3d mark 06 to run.
Well best I got out of my P5E was 490 fsb but volts where a little high, used 1.45v in bios for vcore, 1.75v for NB.
But it worked fine got 19929 with running my 3850 and 3870x2 at stock clocks.
Very pleased with that, tried 500 fsb but no go.
Gone back down to 480fsb now

Im new to overclocking but looking on the OC website at the "Guarenteed to run at..." Q6600's they give you a small how to:

1. CPU Setup - User Defined
2. Multiplier - Default
3. Front Side Bus (FSB) - 333MHz (1333MHz FSB)
4. CPU Core voltage - You might need to take this upto 1.45v maximum but generally 1.4v is fine dependent on the motherboard.
5. We advice you purchase an uprated CPU Cooler such as the Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro to better cool the CPU.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...aranteed to run at 3.00GHZ (1333FSB) - Retail

Is that all you have to do?
