ps3ud0, I don't actually know if you're being serious but if you are out in the cold, I feel somehow now obliged to keep you company. (not in that way)

My battle strategy is to run into the 02 shop tomorrow at 9am and hope there's no-one around. I'm not sure it's going to be effective. The hopeful side of me thinks £400 phone and then I think it is Apple and people queued weeks for contracted ones.
 
Im typing on my WM6 phone and its really hard with the small touchscreen keyboard and the bloody street lights are flickering too...

Can the iPhone3G work with gloves on?

Really wish I could find an open local takeaway as Im going to be hungry soon - less said about the local conveniences the better ;)

Poor showing, ps3ud0.

My 02 shop was crammed full with 4 people. The woman in the shop came up to me and said: 'Yes?'

I said 'Could I have a White iPhone please?'

'What size?'

I'd have been quite disappointed if I wanted an 8gb White iPhone.

It's still in its box. I have a case and protective shield arriving from Apple hopefully tomorrow and I don't want to get my greasy fingerprints all over it. Which is ridiculous as I want to tear it open and go mental.
 
Picked up a Black 16gb iPhone this morning on PAYG but I can't use the thing until O2 port my number accross from my old PAYG SIM, this is going to be a long 24 hours...
 
IPhone PAYG question!

I'm a light phone user, so my top up probably won't be used before the next one is due. Are the balances accumulated or expire after 30 days?
 
Balances are accumulated but if you're on a tariff like Simplicity (free texts/calls to 02) then those expire (if you don't top up monthly) and you start eating into your balance.

It's brilliant though, some time you don't feel like topping up you have a huge balance to eat into with texts and calls.

Jesus, it's a mobile phone, not a bar of solid gold!

At the end of the day, it is going to get marked with use... it's tough luck. Leaving it in the box until a case arrives is just bizarre, but each to their own.
 
Exactly, I cannot be bothered with cases - neither my original or 3G iPhone have had them because they're annoying, bulky and get in the way.

Exactly, and people wonder why Apple fans are branded pretentious :D
 
well since I got my iphone last week I am loving it more and more. The phone is so easy to use and now that I have got to grips with the on screen keyboard this is simply much better than any phone I have had before.

I haven't experienced any issues that some of you have experienced and if the phone is missing any features they are probably ones I never used on any previous phone.

Just applied one of those invisible shield covers to the phone and although the corners and edges gave me some problems the thing fits well and thankfully means I don't need to get a case for the phone as I couldn't find one that I really liked.

Now all i need to find is a decent pair of headphones and the ones that come with the phone are ok but tend to hurt my ears after prolonged usage. Can anyone recommend me a pair?
