My account/number was successfully moved over at last.

I've kept the tariff I was on (02 Unlimited) and seem to have also kept my free Web & WiFi bolt on as well.

All is well. :)

Impressed with the 3G speed; seeing ~1.3 Mb/s downstream on the phone or NetShare'd to the MacBook. 4-5 years ago I was really chuffed to get 512Kb/s ADSL in my house!

Is there any way of getting NetShare if you missed out? ;)

Don't think so - the file is DRM coupled with the iTunes account that bought it.

I've seen it mentioned that there's a way to do similar with some app on a Jailbroken phone though. That might actually be better if it can run in the background (NetShare must be the active application to work)

That looks like an excellent buy... I don't suppose you know if you can sync/charge an iPhone 3G in that dock while an iPhone has a case on it? It’s really annoying me that to use any dock you have to remove any protective cover from the phone first!

I have bought loads - see beginning of thread - no disadvantages at all - work perfect! Activates with your sim card (activated mine with T-mobile). Jailbreaking is a big dodgy but possible as well!
 
Fairly sure it's not a speaker, the other one's a microphone. If there's any sound coming out of it, it's leakage from the other one. iPhone has mono sound... Great!

Just a comment! :p The N95/96 and most other modern 3G phones with Video capability have Stereo speakers. The N96 even has a stand, I think. Not that I'd ever want to watch a video listening from phone speakers, mind.
