On another note, who reckons tomorrow will be the unveiling of the o2 PAYG prices.. Again?
 
Those PAYG tarrifs look not too bad, will pick up a pay as you go phone when they are released and wait for it to be jailbroken so i can use my Vodafone sim.

Hahah, i'm afraid not.

They know I'm on an o2 contract because it was one of the questions when I signed up for the alert. But they still sent me a text about ordering one. Perhaps they will let me upgrade early.

A long shot, but one can hope.
 
I got one too.

"O2: Apple iPhone 3G lands 11/07. We will text you shortly before with order details. As demand is very high, orders will be on a first come first served basis"

I have 6months left on my o2 contract. hmm...

I'm crossing my fingers that the general population of Inverness isn't sufficiently tech savvy to even know what's going on. That said, me thinks I'll be booking next Friday off.

02 have stated that you'll have to restart the iPhone contract (if you're upgrading from iPhone V1).

As for other tariffs -> iPhone 3G. It remains to be seen.
