Hey,

Is push email available to all email accounts and not just MobileMe?

Is the only real difference between 2G iPhone and 3G iPhone the following:
  • Faster data transfer (3G compared to 2.5G)
  • GPS
  • 2G iPhone is 1mm slimmer
  • 3G iPhone has a lower battery life due to 3G
  • Better speakers and microphones on 3G iPhone
  • 3G iPhone has a flush headphone socket
Seen as the 2.0 firmware has been unlocked by the Dev Team I'm trying to weigh up if it's worth upgrading from my 18 month £32.50 contract with Unlimited DT to an 18 month £35 contract with the same tariff, Unlimited DT and £100 for the iPhone.
 
Photo ID, proof of address, the more the better.


My O2 are opening at their usual time, would be nice if the website would let me know what their usual times are... but hey, at least I'm not going to have to get up at silly-o'clock.

The website does tell you.

Under extra info on the tab.

If you are in Dumfries it says 09:00

That's my thoughts also.

In all honesty i really can't be bothered to go down, i have the original one, it does everything and more, its only 3G.

Coverage down here in the dark ages is terrible anyway so i'm not missing anything. It seems to hyped up for me. Suddenly because it's 3G i don't think it's going to shift as many units as people think.
 
Don't see the fuss myself. Was deflated after the keynote and it's still the same product.

The App store is pretty cool and I'm not saying the 3G won't be useful - but it seems a whole load of people getting their panties wet for a revision of a product. A revision that disappointed slightly in my opinion.
 
I'm not fussed about it being 3G, I doubt I have coverage here anyway.

GPS and the storage upgrade are what I'm interested in, and it being white :D

I've got 2.0 now, so I'm not going to be too annoyed if I don't get my hands on one tomorrow.
 
right, just woke up....hope to leave at about 5.30 - 5.45..... .... dead :/ Get there for 6 and play psp for an hour lol. I'll be happy if i'm the only one there lol
 
Just woke up here, as I leave the house at 06:40. It's so tempting to get ready now and pop down to town lol
 
I'm swinging by this morning, probably get down there at 7:30ish and see what the deal is.

I've said to myself.. if the queue is longer than 15 people, I'll abort.
 
Has anyone who ordered from O2 online and being shipped by DHL had theres loaded onto van or that yet?

Mines still says it is in my local depot :(

The shutters were down at CPW on Northolt Road, South Harrow and there wasn't a person in sight. I didn't pass CPW in Harrow town though :/
