*** The iPhone 3G Thread ***

The shutters were down at CPW on Northolt Road, South Harrow and there wasn't a person in sight. I didn't pass CPW in Harrow town though :/

Lawks! We're neighbours, but this time I went to work via Greenford, so missed checking in on CPW.

About to get a Maccy D's breakfast and see what's shaking at the o2 store in Ealing...

Im third in a queue of 15. still undecided, though I know I want to change from WM phones

Making the right move?

ps3ud0

O2 shop in Brentwood has a mere 16 handsets (got this from a friend who was in the queue) and a queue of over 50 people. There's going to be a lot of unhappy people there.

You won't get a white one today, there aren't any available at the moment. They may be along in a few weeks.

Hence why I'm not in a queue ;) I'll nip along at 9, though, just to check.

You never know, I might see the black one in person and decide to just go for it :o

Mines out for delivery. I can't understand queuing up for it. Its getting delivered to my parents as they couldn't find my work address so I hope my dad is in when it comes.

Was loaded onto the Van at 07:11 and it got to my house at 8:22 since the deport is 40mins away i must have been one of the first deliveries, wonder if they have requested pre 9am on everything?

I will look into CPW on the way to work... if there is a queue i will phone and get one delivered!

Do i need proof of address if i am just upgrading?

damn didn't realize that only some stores open at 8. Got to uxbridge o2 at 8 doesn't open till 9 and the queue must be about 60 people long. I am about 25th ish. Is there any indication of how many phones there are at each store?

Nice :)

Just called city link to find out the delivery times. Deliver before 5:30pm for my 'pick up at store' shipment.

"A few dozen" was the indication but this varied from store to store.

This is comedy. The contract servers keep falling over. O2 rep says 30 to 60 mins for each activation as the servers can't handle it. Think I'll go home.

Just queued up outside Carphone Warehouse only to find out that they can only upgrade existing Carphone Warehouse o2 customers and not those who have a regular o2 contract - who knew there was even a difference?

Then went over to the o2 shop itself and found out that there wouldn't be enough 16gb versions :(

Just gonna wait till you can order them online now, that's 2 hours sleep I'll never get back :p

My sister ordered it online, got no confirmation, so thought i hadn't worked and went to o2 shop, there was a massive queue. Then a delivery man woke me up - delivering her new iphone. :p
