yeah i noticed two popped up in London. Gonna keep refreshing. ideally I want a 128 but if i must i'll get a 256

Those are the ones I took more than likely :/

I won't pick up the silver one, so if anyone wants a silver 7+ 256 from Westfield Shepherds Bush, it's probably going back in the pool at 12.00

My Voda discount got applied today so my tariff is unlimited texts/calls, 25gb data, 4gb roaming and one of the services a year... all for... £15.25 :D well pleased. With my phone plan it's £65 a month and O2 wanted £85 so I've saved loads... Plus I got £110 cash back with my voda deal too.

Ah I misread, I thought you just meant for your phone plan. That's not that bad then

Seen people on the MacRumours forums taking out £79 a month plans just to be able to afford the phone. Mental

So they gave me two options. Exchange and hope the new one is okay, or it gets monitored. I went with exchange and they secured me another one for me at one of the stores nearby.

The "Monitor" option would be apparently joining a "small" number of others who have reported until Apple decide what to do. This could take ages etc. The guy I spoke to was quite good and said it is being tracked and is def hardware (which is obvious as its coil whine I guess).

So will go later to get a replacement. A bit annoying as I need to go get the box first!

How did you first get in touch with them? Just wondering what the easiest/quickest way to get mine replaced (same issue as you) would be.

FAO to those purchasing the 256GB models - what's your reasoning behind it? What would you be storing on the phone to require that memory?

This isn't in anyway a loaded question; it's pure intrigue as to how different people use their phone and what for.

Eg I have a 64GB with 7,000 photos, about a 100 podcasts, numerous apps and I still have 7GB available.

I have always purchased the largest iPhone capacity on every iPhone since the 3GS, this 256GB iPhone is the first time I can store all my apps and music on the phone and finally get rid of the iPod Classic.

I have 83GB of music at 256kbps AAC (I like to listen on shuffle), 56GB of apps and 10GB of docs/data. The leaves me with around 83GB left which is plenty for taking photos and 4K video.

If apple comes out with a 512GB or even 1TB iPhone one day I'll get that as well, hate worrying about storage and having to sync and delete all the time.

lol and they will.

If that's cash then looks like i'll trade in with them.

Any idea how much it costs to fix an iPhone 6 screen? Or would it be better to do it myself

Picked up my Silver 7 128gb from Covent Garden earlier.

The trusty 6 Plus was a beast of a phone but decided to go with the smaller phone this time round.

Got £350 for my iphone 6 plus 16GB from game trade in. Well happy as it said only £280 on the website!

So you've either lost £250 or £350 depending on storage and you're happy?

If I had lost so much money on a phone I would be sobbing for months. I wish I could handle the finances for some of you people, I would soon be a rich man.
