I did about 2hours last night

Loving every moment so far, clickers are still dam annoying haha!

Graphics and atmosphere is just brilliant, my PS4 pro however is on its knees it wants to fly away! It's a launch model so expected it tbh.

I find it ironic that the same gamers who cried foul at media members being shills are the ones review bombing the game, I seriouosly question the motivation of these so called gamers at times.
These people come across as agenda driven hypocrites.

I hope it wins GOTY, I want to see these people foam at the mouth even further. It's hilarious watching the backlash at a video game.

I've done about 6 hours so far and think it's great. Weirdly my console hasn't been loud, compared to my Xbox one X that seems loud as hell these days. Hardly used my PS4 pro though to be fair, though the X is used daily.

Your controller OK? Mine was being a bit weird and feeling inconsistent, tool it apart and cleaned the stick contacts and it's working fine now. Only a few months old too.

For me it’s more how they have gone with the characters. The first game made you really connect with them with great story telling. This one dose not have that in my opinion I’m not connecting with the characters which makes it harder to care for them or want to play as them.

Yes. Checked both controllers on PC as there is a program as well as website to check deadzones/buttons for what is going on with the controller and other games. All buttons working correctly and no stick drifting or deadzones.

There is a lot of dead zone in this game. It's crazy how responsive others games reacts to the controls compared to this. I've died so many times in this because it's so slow to rotate with sensitivity 10. Even simple things as the dodge wont always responds and someone grabs me. As well as the map takes forever to respond.

Yet I jump into Uncharted 4/God of War/Spider-Man/The Last of Us 1 and everything responds so fast.

That scene is even that bad compared to the ending! (Which makes absolutely ZERO sense) That's the real kicker here...

The game is the same old, the story is absolute ***** oh and Abby sucks.

The controls do feel sluggish to me. It must be intentional in the game as you said other games feel fine.

Tbh the game is not that bad the gameplay and graphics are very good apart from the sluggish controls which you kind of get used too. The story is a huge kick in the face of what was built up from the first. I kind of just see this as a separate game and take little notice of the characters. As an action zombie slugger game it’s very good. As a story based game it’s crap....

I kind of knew what happens in the game but not 100% just checked the spoiler’s above and now can't even be bothered to play it's if free on the PS5 now. This type of writing is getting old we seen it on Tv and movies now for years. It's time for a little hope.

Man my only hope in the game was to have a little bit of revenge but now I know that's not possible now meh

Yeah sounds like the best thing to do. I stripped mine a few months ago and put some decent thermal pasta on, it brought the fan speed down one level and it's so much better.

As for the game, 8 hours in, loving it. Yes the story was a kick in the nads but I knew it was coming, thanks to some idiots in this thread commenting on the leak a month or so ago and pretty much giving it away.

Leak aside it's still a great game and if you are a fan of the first one I can't see how you won't enjoy this.

I've played 7 hours and loving the game, loooks very nice on my OLED telly. Have you even played the game or just watched one of these clown streamers or looked up all the spoilers just to foam at the mouth.

I like the story, Ellie is quite a moving character and despite some protestations to the contrary, still the same young girl from the original. People will have to grow up and accept that LGBT characters are a norm in games now. The whole thing is a typical videogame imo, which makes the whole troll backlash even more laughable.

yeah and that’s precisely why I’m not buying it (despite being a massive fan of the original). If they want to be absolute lefty melts then that’s their loss and from the looks of things there won’t be a #3 in the series!
