I might get this, I have it on PS3 but never played it apart from briefly at a friends house where I found the controls a bit awkward, probably better with mouse and keyboard in some sections.

I come bearing good news, PC features and specs out!

I suspect Nvidia have pushed them to note the 4080 as a req for 4K 60fps in order to sell some units. No reaosn why a 3090 can't handle it, or even a 3080 with DLSS.

What’s the actual gameplay such as combat and stealth like in the game ? All I ever see is people going on about the story but I’ve seen the tv show so not really arsed about it and quite frankly don’t consider video games a good platform for storytelling anyway. Putting the story aside is the gameplay good enough to maintain ones interest ?

I only played them on PS3 back during launch, but even then the gameplay and mechanics were largely excellent. Obviously part ii adds some new mechanics which the remake incorporates from what I have read. Think Days Gone style of gameplay but with the usual Naughty Dog flare.

Some of the best games ever made are down to the fact that they are backed up by an amazing storey. Can't help feeling that you're missing out if you're solely only bothered about gameplay, as the two completely go hand in hand, for single player at least, but hey, horses for courses I guess.

100GB of storage! When I see games that require this it just makes me feel old haha. Even tho I have games now that use this it still blows my old mind. I remember having a 200mb hard drive on my first pc. Anyways yes I am very much looking forward to playing this. I've never played this as I have never played a console since playstation 1 days. Always been a pc gamer. Bit off topic but I truly hope ghost of tsushima comes out on pc.

It's not that I dislike storytelling. I love films, books etc. I just don't think that video games are a good platform for storytelling, at least not relative to film, tv, books etc. Part of it is technology-related, computer game characters are still nowhere near as convincing as real actors due to facial/lip animations, plastic faces, uncanny valley and all that. Then on top of that you have the start-stop nature of the story telling... one second you have a cinematic cutscene and then next you're doing some generic video game combat, dying, restarting etc... it just doesn't flow naturally and results in me being less immersed in the story.
