TBH with all the changes they have made a fresh start is sometimes a nice thing! they have revamped the starting zones a lot since i did them!

Started on Evernight, as a Hobbit - Minstrel

youll enjoy the mini, i stopped playing at GW2 release (pre Rohan update) and have a 75 hobbit mini on evernight, should really go back i think, as havent touched GW for couple months now and need my mmo fix hehe

Look out for one of our Officers if you need a Kinship though. (Guardians of Middle-Earth)

I had a free to play account a while ago but deleted the game.
Im tempted to give it another whirl.If i download the game should i be able to find my old character? as i cant remember any of the details lol.
Also is it worth me getting the 3 expansions off steam for £15(Mines of Moria,seige of mirkwood and isengard) Does that give me access to all the quests pretty much?

Yeh many many hours had been sunk into those chars, a lot of gold too. I'm not too worried though. long time ago.
I knew there was a time limit, I tried transferring but ran into problems and I couldn't be bothered to go through the rigmarole of support tickets.

As soon as I'm out of the starter area, I'll put out a message for your kin!

If you are re-installing the game there is a client option that allows you to play whilst it's downloading.

Im on the Gilrain server, anyone else on it?

Im on Gilrain though i dont really play anymore just pop on and pay rent on kinhouse so kinnies dont get locked out xD unsure on levels as rohan caused me to give up playing with the rubbish mounted combat.

You might need to add me lol ive not got this figured out yet.
This is the 1st MMO ive played .I tried it a while back and here i am for round 2 trying to figure out the best way to get expansions and premium etc.
I think im gonna get the steam tripple pack and sub for a month unlock some characters and then un sub

That is the best way tbh, What expansions does the triple pack give you? bear in mind that as a free player you only have access to Bree/Shire/Ered luin and Lone Lands unless you buy quest packs for other areas.

The triple pack gives Moria, Mirkwood and Isengard, so good for 50-70 or so? If you can free play up to the end of the lone lands now, you really just need Evendim and Angmar to get you to 50.

Not sure how fast the turbine points come at low levels but it should be possible to buy at least one of them using in-game point gains? Guessing here tbh, as I have a lifetime.

Well if you sub for a month you get 500TP anyway so that would be enough to unlock one area? can quest in Evendim from 30? Lone lands should get you to atleast 30-32, i'm 30 and just started questing around Ost Guruth. After Evendim i would suggest heading to Eregion as will be closer to Moria
