Very nice.

Your Dad's clearly a legend for letting you build this in his garden rather than just moving out. ;)

Haha, got to admit I was thinking along the same lines. Its like a teenagers dream pad!

Very nice setup though. There was show on CH4 the other week about best sheds and one of the winners was a guy that built one just like yours but purely as a home cinema. Didn't seem to have any insulation though so felt a bit sorry for his neighbours after he showed off the sound system!

Hey there smogsy,

I'm a fan of your cave!

Just wanted to ask if you have considered putting up acoustic foam panels and/or bass traps around the walls/corners to improve room acoustics? I read earlier on that you had some issues with the sound coming from your tv, so this might be a possible solution.

Foam panels can make a big difference by eliminating sound reflections around the room hence removing echoes. You can get a cheap set of foam panels for under £50 (just standard black wedge shaped tiles). Bass traps for the corners cost an extra 40-50ish. High quality or coloured panels will cost more though (probably double that).

Just thought I'd let you know in case it helps.

where did i say i had problems? the acoustics are amazing, far better than my old area that i had them in :D:D

I'm very jelly, this 'Man Cave' looks very similar to what I was thinking of before clicking on the link in the signature. But why do you need a bed and toilet since this man cave is only like 2-3 meters away from your home, right? Or is it further than that? :p
