The patch helped me a little bit, but the frame rate is still pretty poor in some places.

Edit: Bah, still get crap FPS with next gen mode, geuss it is only for 512 cards. Oh well..

Hello Peeps,

I've just installed Legend and it won't let me select next gen content. Do i need to have a certain graphics card for this option to become available? Should i update to the latest catalyst drivers? I'm currently running v6.2.

Also is the new patch only for next gen or are there fixes for everyone?

Starting after my name is earl

p.s That's the new model for Legend, her name is Karima Adebibe and she's on Saturday Showdown tomorrow on Itv 1 promoting the game.

Very Poor FPS

I have 7800GTX512 + 3.8ghz P4 670 with 2Mb L2 Cache + 2GB DDR2-533 Ram. Everything else on my PC runs fine but TRL is sooooooooo slow with next gen enabled @ 1920x1200 + No AA + 16AF.

Getting 3-5FPS in places which is absolutely terrible.

Anyone know what the next gen problem is?

The patch did near to nothing for me, but ive got a single GTX256 :-/

Patch has done nothing for my performance.

Apparently all next gen PC versions are bugged and Nvidia are supposed to be working on a fix for it right now according to Crystal Dynamics.

Depth Of Field is messed up totally as it blurs the screen too much.

I can either play it with next gen off or @ 640x480 to get it anywhere near playable (15-20FPS LOL).

Just have to wait I suppose.

The next gen water looks incredible the best yet seen on the PC by far.

The patch is out, see my post a little higher up. Helps a little bit, but by no means solves the problem. Framerate suffers at 1680 x 1050 but isnt too bad at 1360 x 768.

Complete n00b here. Without being spolierish:

The bit just after the demo, it cuts to a cutscene with Lara running, and theres a white arrow that I think is prompting me to do something? What though, none of the keys do anything?

Oh pupee, ah well nvm but does that mean i won't be needing the patch now? Still don't know whether to update my cat drivers to 6.3? 6.2 at the momey.

I found pressing the cursor keys gets you through that bit. Just press them as you are prompted on screen.

Its depressing... its done something for me, but not much. Still laggy, would have thought my card would have been ok. Would have thought yours would have been perfect! Meh.. But yes the water like the gushing water looks amazing.

Ah ha! I thought when it had the down arrow it meant duck, but it means hit the down key. I'm such a n00b.

Lol...even not pressing the button has its upsides, some of the deaths are funny

Dont get me wrong.. Death in real life isnt funny, but being a game with ragdoll physics some of them made me giggle >_>

Shoot the crap off those faces on each pedestal, once you done that, yuse your grappling to pull em down, do that to all of em, then kill him

I don't think anyone can play with Next Gen settings on to be honest. I guess it's designed so that in a year (or two)'s time you can go back and play it and it will look fanatstic.
