**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Is there a way to disable auto Nvidia driver updates?

Open the Control Panel by right-clicking the Start button and selecting Control Panel. Navigate to System and Security > System > Advanced system settings. Click the Hardware tab, click Device Installation Settings, and select the “No, let me choose what to do option. Select “Never install driver software from Windows Update.”

Hmm after the latest patch I've had to dial down the setting on W3 in hairworks etc to maintain solid 60FPS on a 980 Ti @ 1080P, so I am skeptical that a 970 can do this at 1200P.

Must be one hell of a GTX 970.

I didn't say anything about 60fps. I just said smooth with no hitches. FPS is probably in the 35-45fps. Plenty. No slowdown etc. I've had it maxed since launch.

Ah fair enough matey. Yeah to get a lock on 60FPS I need to lower some of the hairworks settings, everything else at max. That's at 1080P.

Well I had not shaved my beard since a few days ago. Guess I am evil in mirror universe. :o

Downloading 355.60 now from link below.

Now completed downloaded. Wow really fast.

Nice one, will try these out :)

Very strange, although I no longer play BF4 but I have not had a single problem on the 350 branch on W8.1 or W10. Been fantastically solid here

You do much gaming on PC these days Gregster?

I used to play BF4 a lot, now it's the occasional game of Witcher 3 on PC. Which I do think is worth having a decent card for, awesome game. Although I think I may never finish it.

Nvidia GeForce Driver 355.78

Vista, W7, W8, W10.

NVIDIA's Windows driver version 355.78 (released 8-22-15) provides beta support for VR developers using Oculus 0.7 SDK. It provides a bug fix for an intermittent issue found in the publicly released 355.60 Game Ready driver as well as solving an issue with incorrect display timings.

user error lol. Honestly, the only issue I've had with Windows 10 is having to force hide the driver updates. Games have been running perfectly :)

The latest ones have been working for you and me, but loads of peeps are having problems with drivers past 350.12. The tinternet is full of complaints.

Seems every day or so there is a new Nvidia driver, but none seem to work across the board.

Try 355.83 Kaap?

Literally seems like another day another diver atm. People seems to have problems ever since 350.12, not one driver since that just works across the board.

355.80 seem ok for me but then I've only played Witcher 3..
