**The OcUK Benchmarks thread!**

Agree with stock clocks, not everyone wants to or has the confidence to overclock, have quite a few friends that are enjoying gaming completely at stock :)

Updates incoming, won't be doing any more testing my self for another week minimum, rebuild to do, re-install windows and I'll be restricted to a 360+120 radiator.

Oh dear!!!!! Stock clocks!!!! A bench at stock clocks!!! Come on man!!!

Haha it's just for reference for others to decide on what to purchase, I could easily give unreal expectations by benching games at 1340/1950 :p

I think you should do a bf3 run on your 1600mhz 680 :o

Operation Swordbreaker 1080p:

Mild OC of 1150/1500:

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
29451, 340191, 58, 139, 86.572

Surprisingly close to "the beast".

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
31648, 344622, 59, 164, 91.834

MSI GTX680 Lightening meets ASUS RIVE (High BLK just for you Pigi) Power!!!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Just posted this to show you high BLK is possible on X79. This score is top 12 world wide for single GPU with 133.9 BLK on RIVE and DDR2500. The GPU still has a lot more in it as this is only just over 1.3v but the MOA bios is giving me issues. MSI are on it!!

WOW! Thats around a 107 base correct? Thats impressive, what kind of strain does such a high base put on the motherboard? I'll be putting the Xpower II under water as soon as its logical to do so.

And yeah, that vcore is really good, especially considering I had to input 1.54v into the UD7 to bench 5ghz out of a 3820, have a feeling this will be lower with the new board :)

I see :)

Really looking forward to getting this motherboard in and tested out, especially as MSI rave about it having the record for highest base clock/strap combo of ~104.6x1.66= 173.8mhz.

Another question for you, do the PCI lanes run at base or base+strap speed? So would a 125mhz(100x1.25) clock run the PCI at 125mhz or 100mhz?

PCI at 100 mate. 100 x 1.25 or Indeed 100 x 1.66 still PCI EX at 100. Most Graphics get best scores around 105 -106 PCI ex speed so you want 131 -132 BLK on the 1.25 strap.

Interestingly my RIVE and CPU can go higher but my graphics does not like more than 107 Frequency so scores suffer.

a lot of SB-E also need less Vcore at around these values due to PLL modulation being reduced with higher BLK frequencys.

@8 Pack.. u reminded me to do that Vantage bench i was meaning to run :D

Here we go..

2700K @ 5.0GHz (1.45v)
7950 @ 1165/1625 (Cat 12.11)
RAM @ 1866GHz (9-10-9-27-2T)

All on air :)

SCORE
P39125 3DMarks
GRAPHICS SCORE
41396
CPU SCORE
33597

The joint 2nd place for similar systems is my first run :p

Good effort mate. Vantage sadly is biased towards X79 as it makes use of all cores and threads you have to offer for the CPU score. It also likes tuned RAM.
