It's imperative that she knows things will not just get back to where they were within a couple of weeks or so... That sort of crap will take a long time to get over. I would definitely secure some of my feelings if that happened to me, some women fail to understand or accept that their actions can cause a lot of heartache.
 
I suppose I should enter this thread after my last 24 hours.

Slipped into the darkside with a long term (best)friend. My type 100%...and probably more.

Permission to leave the friend zone denied.

She told me what went on, she spotted a text come through on his phone while she was with him which proved the point that he hadn't changed at all. He sunk his own ship by the looks of it.
(Was a text from some other woman replying to his previous text advances, only his advances were time stamped after the point at which he contacted my GF.
He actually passed her the phone saying he had nothing to hide!!
Didn't seem to see anything wrong with that.) :rolleyes:

Anyway, I won't be going back into it with loved up blinkers on.
There shall be a period of being cold hearted and analytical about every move she makes.
I do want to be with her so I'm not going to kick her to the kerb but she has to realise I won't take any of that ever again.

No offence it's your life but I wouldn't be taking her back. Shows she doesn't really care.
 
Everyone is allowed a mistake as long as you learn from it.
Plus the fact there is a whole heap load of other talk that paints a bigger picture that no one will understand and I'm not about to go through it all on here, I've just given the tl'dr version.

Did she do anything with him? Even a small kiss would be enough to tell her to **** off tbh.
 
So you are her second choice cos her other one didn't work out after all?

Man that's not a good situation to be in dude. I've learned from my foolish choices in the past. Never let a woman dick you about like that man.
 
You will see the mushroom cloud from your house if she does anything like that again don't you worry.
I am not one to be messed about either and can be a stone cold bar steward if I wanted to be, but when "she's the one" she's worth a little more effort!

So basically she was 100% happy to leave you for him, until it turned out he was going to two time her so she came back to you.

She didn't choose you over him she chose him over you.
 
I know :mad: that is what hurts the most, but I have to give her some slack, she was in deep with him, you don't just fall out of love with someone like that. It was a messy end as far as I am aware.
I guess the texts from him brought a load of feelings back that she covered over instead of putting to rest. She was in a right mess (didn't know what to do) before even going to see him. Heart with me, head telling her to go back.
Plus the fact we are still pretty new to each other.
 
Wow, you're thoughts on the whole matter are pretty unusual.

You have to realise you are her second choice. Do you like the idea of that.

So did anything happen between them when she went to see him? If so then your a fool for even trying to be with her.
