Thought about it for a week and gone with the Ultra with Starlight Alpine Loop. Will use my existing Nike Sports band for running.

Got a few alpine hiking adventures and around 50km/week of running planned over the next 6 months so easily justified. Just hope it isn't too bulbous!

Wonder if my Series 5 is worth anything more than the paltry £50 or whatever it was Apple quoted.

I’ve decided I’m doing the same but I’m going for the orange alpine. I keep changing between that and the black/grey trail. I’ll use my Nike band too for running.
 
I ordered mine from Amazon but no sign of delivery date yet - really hoping for launch day as I am away to the states next week and keen to use it. Anyone else ordered at Amazon and got any notification of dispatch? Might check on Friday to see if any available for pick up in store but bit of a trek into town to do so!
 
I had a right PITA ordering my 7 from Amazon when they came out, ended up just getting it from Apple direct in the end.
 
Ah that's annoying - ill see what the situation is tomorrow as keen to get it ASAP so may need to go hunting for one then cancel!
 
Just ordered an Ultra from John Lewis should be here tomorrow & cancelled the Amazon order as it looks like it will be a no show like my Iphone pro 14 order was this time last week.

Shame really as I had it on 5 monthly payments, still it's all paid for now with a 2 year warranty included.

Just hope it doesn't look like too much of a monster on my skinny 170mm wrist :)

I usually buy things outright but ended up going through Vodafone directly as they were offering it at 0% and £3.5/pm for the cellular funcitonality. Only bad thing is I have to wait until next Friday to get it. Tempting to grab the tube to Covent Garden and collect it today from the Apple store but I'll wait lol.

I had to do an 80 mile round trip to the Norwich Apple store last friday to pick up my 14 pro last friday, didnt fancy it again today though.

I did manage to get free street car parking as the main route into the city was closed due to roadworks, so I could not get to the underground car park under the shopping centre & the walk didn't do me any harm :)

this - really want to see what it looks like on peoples wrists. tempted to go and take a look in store myself. i've no idea why i want one sooo much. i have a S6 and it does everything i need. the extreme stuff doesn't really apply to me, i just like bigger watches.

The ultras are really nice! I only went in to pick up my AirPods Pro second gen but ended up walking out with an Ultra. Not sure whether I will keep it.
