Would love the battery of the ultra in the S8. But can’t really pull off the ultra personally. I wear a shirt to work and the ultra will look out of place.

I'm planning on wearing mine for the office with business wear but definitely not for anything client facing or special occaseons. As much as I love the Apple Watch and how awesome they are for daily use they still look tacky compared to a proper Swiss watch. I guess the black one with certain straps has a bit more class but there's no way the Ultra is going to ooze sophistication and style

agreed. i tend to wear smart casual and rarely a shirt with cuffs. i could probably get away with this but it's totally overkill and just how ridiculous it will look remains to be seen. i do like slightly oversized watches and would wear my smarter one for special occasions.I'm planning on wearing mine for the office with business wear but definitely not for anything client facing or special occaseons. Does anyone have any ideas on ultra case protectors? I got one off Amazon for the time being however they all seem to be hard shell rather than the nice soft tpu, not keen on a hard shell one long term as they’ve scratched phones in the past I’ve had…..
Why do you want a case for a watch? What has the world come to, next you’ll be driving around with a case around your car.
No. Just don’t do it. Seriously, they look rubbish, utter garbage.
Already exists, people are spending £3-4K PPFing their relatively run of the mill cars all the time.
But you can’t see PPF, you can see ugly phone and watch cases.
If you had a Rolex on your wrist, would you put a case on it?

Why do people put phones etc in cases? Whats wrong with protecting the expensive things you cherish? Why do people clear PPE their expensive cars to protect from road chips etc? I’d at least want some kind of bezel protector on an expensive multi thousand pound Watch (personal preference) I myself have 2 small kids that I pick up etc and do activities where sometimes Ive knocked my Watch against something as to where a protector of some kind has saved the Watch…..some of you guys are maybe happy to ding and dent your stuff and not be bothered….however myself I like my things pristine and personally don’t think that’s a bad thing considering the price of these items, the majority of protectors nowadays are minimal and barely noticeable if chosen correctly.

Everything I sell is in mint condition, unscratched and unmarked. I take care of my stuff and I like to see it the way the designer made it, not sheathed in a piece of plastic junk.
Then you either A: lead a very minimalistic life or B: have no kids lol
As mentioned, personally I would rather have it in a piece of “minimal plastic junk” and know it’s protected with my lifestyle. These watches already look like a V tech watch so I don’t think it looks too bad given it has some protection.

So you’re taking apples titanium finish and making it look like cheap plastic crap?
I stick to the stainless steel watches and just polish out the odd minor surface scratches when I can be bothered.
The screen has never scratched on multiple stainless steele watches.

Most definitely, as mentioned with my lifestyle and having kids and liking my items in a pristine condition to me it’s a small price to pay. I know full well the titanium case is bulletproof however would still mark if hit hard enough, my garmin did, then what? Every time you look at your watch would be pretty devastating. As mentioned, why do people hide a 1300 pound phone in a case? Why do people wrap a clear PPE on their porches etc?
I don’t use a case for my phone. I think they’re plastic junk and terrible for the environment.
PPE on a car is clear, it protects it, makes it easier to clean and you cannot see it (unless you close and know what to look at).
You can see plastic junk wrapped around a lovely watch or phone.
Then that is your choice and how you value your items
if you feel you can use and protect your expensive items without the fear of damaging them without any PPE then great, I envy you. I on the other hand can’t with as mentioned, 2 kids that constantly are picked up in the height of tantrums, and the activities we do. I for one certainly don’t lose any sleep over taking Apples premium titanium Watch and sticking a small minimal clear plastic case on it. If it upsets you well there’s no hope I’m pretty certain you don’t worry about what’s good or bad for the environment when you exchange phones yearly, don’t recycle everything, drive whatever exotic car you may have or whatever other non environmental category you may fall in to.

My Apple Watch doesn't have a mark in it and I lift weights 4-5 times a week and constantly knock it on things.
I do have a case on my phone but only when in the gym otherwise it's naked most of the time. I don't think there's any need to be paranoid about damaging them unless you are making a conscious effort to. My 12 Pro Max launched out my jacket pocket in a church during a wedding, landed on a marble floor and didn't have a single mark on it, pretty sure it wasn't divine intervention... and I mean the not being damaged part not the launching out my pocket, that was an exaggerated hand gesture.
