You can get it to under a gig by using nLite or if you can get Windows Fundamentals version that takes about 800 meg.
Theres also Tinyxp which takes less but you will need to look around for that one :)

Any ideas how many of these OcUK are going to have available? If I don't pre-order am I going to be able to get one?

The battery life is still making me look down on this. I'd really like 5 hours or so... 3 hours just doesn't seem...enough?

Oooh that sounds nice. I'm very tempted by buying one of these, whacking an 8gb SDHC card in it, and taking it to school and back.

These are being sourced from america right? Good job, the education site doesnt have them until end of November. High demand I expect.
ed: actually I read earlier in this thread, its direct from asus. Come on asus give them to Ocuk first - scummy students dont want them! haha
