Seasons is still solid once you get on act 4, the only thing I have left to do is complete a solo rift at level 20, I can do greater rifts up to 18 but am no where near completing them in time to get to the next level its taking ages as my WD is still not strong enough & I cant find the "dead mans finger" ring drop anywhere :( Any tips to increase my power to get this done before the season ends? Still can't understand why they have to charge for this when POE are giving pretty much a full game out as free content.
 
It's a joke they are putting the necromancer as paid DLC when Diablo has had little in the way of content updates or anything. They just change a few numbers each season.
 
yeh, i'll be passing on this. i'd expect more than that for the £13, hell, i expect to pay around that for the Grim Dawn expansion later this year and its going to have 2 classes, a crap load of new items and a whole new act which they say keeps getting bigger amongst other things.

So hold on...just to be clear, they're charging over a 1/3rd of the new price of the game for a single character. And people have no problem with that? Lol.

I think it's fair to say that people are willing to pay more for things they use more. I'd rather have it free but I'll pay £13 towards the game I've put so much time into tbh.

Quite looking forwards to playing a new class

Or they could charge a reasonable price for it! Just consider that we got what - 5 classes plus the full game for ~ £30.00. I think I paid £20 for another class plus what I would deem to be a fairly good expansion. £13.00 is just poor value and actually - completely indicative of Blizzard's greed.
 
I don't buy many games I can live with the cost.

I pay paradox 10-15 quid for a dlc expansion for eu4, similar reasoning that I put so much time into it so I don't mind.
 
So funny see people talk about how it's a rip off, bliz is greedy....etc... Blizzard are one of the most supportive developer's going.

You are not being locked out of content, it's purely optional. Adding a new character and ensuring balance is maintained reasonably well across the entire game is a huge task, made even more challenging with seasons.

I spend more than £13 on a pack of cigarettes and a lunchtime meal deal.

The game it is today, is very far from the steaming turd it was on release, it's a lot of fun and satisfying to play. I'm pleased they have supported it so well over the years and I'm happy to support them in return.
 
Will this be sold elsewhere or is this a blizzstore only as its only a 'content pack' or whatever they call it?

not sure about this pack, best part about it is the 2 stash slots and the excuse to play D3 again :o
 
It's necromancer/patch out tonight, server update starts at 10, so it should be available for purchase soon and you will be able to try it from later tonight, still a long wait till the new season though
