Here's some pretty pictures of the Thargoid trashed Lowell Class Science Vessel HDR-617 to distract from that number!…

That's some impressive numbers there, are you elite everything?

Nice pics too, games only really come alive for me since vr.

Accidently tagged a security vessel last night bounty hunting in a community goal haz res, 20 minute chase though asteroid belt trying to escape, ended with "Please sir can I have a new anaconda!".

Heck no. It's mostly b/c of PP - I spent about 6 hours last week just blowing up Feds as part of the coordinated response to their attack on Aisling.

Here's me…

Thanks! VR is beyond my budget atm but I only hear good things about it with ED. Maybe if the next gen is cheaper I'll jump on.

Great pics by the way :)

Cheers!

I'm going to get some ammo then have a bash at that. Already done some deliveries to get the decal so might as well get a couple of mil for 15 minutes or so of shooting stuff :) & yep, FDev raising the friendly fire threshold in Beyond can't come soon enough.

They are? Can't say I've had any issues with it since the last change, some years ago.

Is that relatively new?
Does it count time from when it was put in, or all the way back from Alpha/Beta?

Its been in for ages, fairly sure it counts from launch but not sure about any beta time.

Some really nice shots there :)

Did you add the depth of field effect in the last pic yourself?

I've recently reinstalled this (again). I only have 10mil and the buy back for my Python is 5mil. I don't want to risk complete obliteration, so could do with more creds. What's the safest and most profitable method these days?

If you don't mind trekking in super cruise go to lhs 380 with some passenger cabins and take missions to 36 orph something or any place that has long cruise times. Should be looking at 10 to 50 million per client and you can stack them unless vips which have a whole cabin.

I don't mind the friendly fire bit but think it's a bit harsh when they fly straight through your targeted shot, if it was blindly fire or gimballed and target chaffed causing lock issues fair play, can always untarget and treat gimbals as fixed.

So Ive found a nice series of missions for skimmer elimation.
But I have some questions if anyone could please answer:

1. I see I can select multiple skimmer missions and which basically have the same objective. But when I destroy the skimmers some of them increase together, others do not. Any ideas why this maybe?
2. How many of these can be stacked?
3. The skimmers don't seem to resspawn and I have to relog. Bit naff. Is this really the only way?
4. Is it me or is this way of making money as it broken? On one run I ended up making like 100m credits (about an hour or so?)

1. Just the programming, I guess. Definitely all the same base, planet, system, etc?
2. I don't think there's a cap, so much, so just keep going.
3. I just leave the planet, hit orbital flight level, then go back in. It might reset if you just fly far away enough...
4. Depends how you want to see it. I see things like this as multiple contracts each against the same target, from different persons who've all asked the same 'Blah Faction of Planet 235-22' to deal with it... whereupon you then take all their seperate contracts at once.
Kinda like BT and West Water and Scottish Energy all seperately hiring Cavallino Tarmac Company to go resurface the same road they've been working on - One job, multiple clients, multiple payments. Happens in real life, so why not in-game?

100mil is a lot, but not that much... and I may have to start doing the same!! :D

This was specifically changed very recently as it was allowing people to stack silly amounts of skimmer kill missions and earn more money than FD wished them too. I think there are still circumstances where they will count towards multiple mission but don't now the specifics.

1. Yep pretty sure!
2. Nice! Ok good stuff.
3. Will flying far and back and see what happens...
4. That BT/WW/SE analogy, does that really happen? 3 companies asking one company to tarmac the same road?
5. Ive just stocked up on missions now but need to go to dinner. Ill do a run and report back :)

Cheers. Looks like it only does so up to certain number of missions.[/QUOTE]

By running missions for empire aligned factions is usually the fastest way, donation missions are good too, look for the ones that are rep+++.
