You will save money in the social life you will loose. If you have a wife or girlfriend, prepare to save even more as you will not be needing those contraceptives. :D
 
Well I got my first kill, npc rat hunting in 0.0, being chased around by a couple guys in goonfleet with T2 frigates, one of which an interceptor and possibly the other one as well. The first guy warps litterally right on me, scrambles me, and starts shooting. I get a lock and start firing back and hit the shield boster. I get him down to halfway through armour in a couple missle volleys and his friend warps in. Another volley and and hes into hull, and other and hes dead. The scramble on me is gone so I begin to warp to a safe spot.


Was way to easy though, I only had a 10 or 15 percent down on my shields and he must have had a non exsistant tank since i'm packing mostly heavey launchers and T1 missles.

Looking at the logs he must have been using mwd as my scourges were doing full damage, and killed him in a total of 3 vollies and a little bit.



EDIT: and that video is absolutly hilarious :D

Nice one buddy. What were you in a what was he/she in?

caracel's are inty death. In a anit-inty setup you can take on 2-3 inties.

Sounds like it was a great fight!

only if they are setup!
a caracel with T1 heavys and T1 launchers is dead to an inty cos of the damage loss

yeah which is why I was surprised I killed him, with him and his friend on me. I was doing fairly good damage 115 per missle which is extremily good for hitting a frigate, let alone a T2 one.
 
Alright, I just shelled out 25 million on a ferox (my biggest purchase ever :/ ) so anybody got a good setup for one? Preferably a active shield tank as i've already got two namned large shield extenders (would have been 4 had I not lost one of my carcals in a gate camp :mad: ) and two T2 medium shield bosters as well as a lot of other bits but those are the best ones.

I'm mostly going to be using it for running missions, and out to 0.0 for npc rat hunting when i'm in a possition where I can use it effectivly.

Don't have to look very far - Click here for a Ferox setup that's good in 0.0 for reasonable size spawns. Tweak hardeners to suit the NPCs you're against.
